Fiber Science & Apparel Design

The university has unveiled its official tartan plaid, making Cornell the only Ivy League school to have its own tartan registered with the Scottish Tartans Authority.

Jessie Fair, '09 Alumna in Fiber Science & Apparel Design, designed the tartan, which is predominantly wine red with cream and has a hint of gray with dusty blue stripes.

A special thank you to Mort Bishop III, CALS '74, President of Pendleton Woolen Mills and a member of the Cornell Board of Trustees, who donated the scarves as part of Cornell's "Far Above..." campaign
