Fiber Science & Apparel Design

The university has unveiled its official tartan plaid, making Cornell the only Ivy League school to have its own tartan registered with the Scottish Tartans Authority.

Jessie Fair, a senior in Fiber Science & Apparel Design, designed the tartan, which is predominantly wine red with cream and has a hint of gray with dusty blue stripes. Read more about the tartan by clicking here.

You can purchase an official Cornell tartan scarf in the Department of Fiber Science & Apparel Design.

When: From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday
Cost: $50 in a cash or check made payable to Cornell University.  Shipping is available for an additional $5, International shipping to locations like Canada will be an additional cost of $5.  Please send your $50.00 + shipping check to Judy L.
